On the day of the Tour, tickets will be available at the Gaelic League, 2068 Michigan Ave. Tickets can be purchased in advance on eBay by clicking here.

Information also available on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/CorktownHomeAndGardenTour.

This year's Tour will feature 7 houses, a loft in the Grinnell Bldg. and an apartment over the Mercury Bar. The Ponyride Building at Vermont and Porter will also be a stop on the Tour and will be show casing the type of development and encouragement in progress at that location. There will be a "dig" in process behind 1795 Wabash by Privy Historian, Tony Panepucci.

At one of the homes on the Tour, two of our local historians will be setting up a display of old photos and histories of long gone life in Corktown. They are hoping that they will be able to collect additional materials from the folks coming to the Tour.

We have invited Prof. Tom Killian from Wayne State to participate and his team will set up a display at the Gaelic League showing what has been uncovered in Corktown from digs at the Worker's Row House, and Roosevelt Park.

There will be music provided by Jon Boyd and friends on the porch of the Gaelic League. There are several new restaurants that have opened along Michigan Avenue that will provide food and beverages for those seeking respite along with Mudgie's Deli on Porter. The Gaelic League will also be providing a light lunch.

This year's Tour is promising to be one of the most interesting and entertaining event yet.
